The Draw-Tite trailer hitch & associated wiring harness arrived super quick (less than 48 hours). Took me about 3 hours to intall the hitch - everything fit snug as a bug. Haven't installed the wiring harness yet, will jump on that this weekend.
This is my 2nd Draw-Tite hitch - had one installed on my 2000 Corolla about 15 years ago, which gave me great service pulling a 900 lb teardrop camper I tow to various windsurfing destinations. After 25 years, upgraded to a 2021 Camry to pull the teardrop.

Hitch fit perfectly! I would recommend having a step drill bit for opening the holes up that you have to run the carriage bolt through. I only had but bits which made the install take a little longer but overall still everything went together nicely! This made my third hutch purchase from E-Trailer and if I ever need another, E-Trailer will get my business again!

DIY install on a 2018 Camry XSE. I got this to load my RadRover 6 Plus. I also got the HollyWood Bike rack to handle weight.
It works! I do have to be careful with slight inclines because it will scrape the pavement. It’s installed on a 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid so not much I can do about it.
This is a quality product. It’s designed to fit the car perfectly. Please not though that you’ll need special tools to disconnect/drop the muffler system to install the hitch. I did not have tools to disconnect the muffler/exhaust hangers, so I wound up taking it to a mechanic that installed it for about $100.

Thank you for your review. You can purchase an exhaust hanger removal tool however a small amount of lubricant and a pry bar works just fine to lower the exhaust.
Finally got the chance to install this hitch. The written instructions are marginal. They did not cover my hybrid version. The installation videos on etrailer were more helpful. The hitch was a bit off and contacts the tire well on one side. Installation by loosening the exhaust did not work for me. Mine was too tight and I could not move it out of the way to drill. I had to remove the muffler. The instructions for trimming are a bit aggressive. I was able to get the under cover installed with about 25% of the suggested cutting. One thing the instructions left out is a rear edge trim (however, the video did mention this). I also added a strip from (the heat shield scrap) to tie the cover back together and prevent flutter noise while driving. Installed, this hitch appears sturdy. I am sure it will last. Too bad it did not come with a pin or cover.
Excellent customer service and a quality product. I had the hitch professionally installed and it looks great. Now I look forward to putting it into use!

I am very pleased with my hitch, which works perfectly!
I have the 2020 Camry hybrid and the instructions and installation video show the regular Camry but it’s the same exact thing just flip it from the passenger side to the driver side where our single exhaust come out. Great product and very well built, I’ll definitely be recommending this hitch to anyone that asks about it. Thank you Etrailer.com!

The installation went smoothly. I used my local muffler shop which also installs trailer hitches. Looks great, fits in nicely with my cars body style.
Installed on 2018 Camry LE hybrid. Product arrived on time. Easy to install with a helping hand. Fits great. Seems heavy duty garde. Install instructions online is more detailed than the one that came in the box. Only gripe could have cut out less underbody cover due to poor instructions. Overall happy with experience.
I bought this for a new 2021 Toyota Avalon. I was concerned that it would look rather obtrusive, hanging down from under our pretty new car. But that is not the case at all, it looks just fine. I installed it myself, in my garage. Not the easiest thing I’ve ever done, but the video was very helpful.
Turn around time was awesome, ordered it on a Monday, got it on Wednesday.

The hitch is fine. On the other hand the little bag of nuts came broken open. There’s nuts and bolts missing. Thankfully the place where I’m getting it installed found some extra.
The hitch is grand for my 2018 Toyota Camry! Installation went fairly smooth and it looks great. There is however an issue that I encountered that is now going to cost me to buy a new "trim bottom appearance panel" for the single exhaust model. Item #7 in the instructions that references Figure 5 shows what I thought was instructing me to cut out a section of the panel, much like is shown in Figure 2 for trimming the heat shield. I actually still don't know exactly how it is to be cut out. I am inclined to think that it is t be cut out using the BARELY VISIBLE DOTTED LINES and disregarding the location of the arrows. At any rate, my appearance panel is now cut out incorrectly and I have to buy a new one. Maybe I can find one at a junk yard. Don't make my mistake.

Its worked out fine with the exception of the mistake I made with the poorly written instructions. One other thing that I encountered in the last week is the Anti-Rattle Hitch Tightener. It does not work at all with the hitch 4 rise I ordered from you guys or the bike rack that I use. Im going to have to return the GEN-Y Anti-Rattle piece. Im actually quite pleased with the hitch that I use for my tear trailer and for my bike rack that I use often.

I have a 2019 Avalon Limited with dual exhaust, the drivers side is a breeze, the passenger side not so much since you have to drill a 1/2 inch hole in the frame so I loosely fastened all the bolts and used a step drill bit since I don't have an angle drill and had to fight with the muffler to get it going straight, if not for this I would give installation a 6 out of 10, but like etrailer says, it's a 10/10 because of it. I also back my vehicle onto two car ramps to raise the rear, working from ground level would be a no go for me.
Installed on my 18 Camry SE. took several hours with a jack and jack stands. Hardest part was trimming the splash guard to fit around the hitch mount but overall it wasn’t that bad of a task. Wish the videos would of shown all the trimmings after trim instead of pre trim and post install. I figured it out. Very satisfied with the hitch mount and it isn’t as noticeable as I thought it would be.
I bought this hitch (about a year ago) to transport our two bicycles. This Hitch is excellent. Installation was not expensive it is so easy to mount/unmount the bike rack.
Good hitch. It was an easy installation with an impact wrench. I installed it on my toyota camry and, use it all the time for my bicycle carrier. This makes my 2nd hitch I purchase from e-trailer.
If you are not used to doing projects like this, give yourself extra time. I’m not a mechanic so it took me an entire day to install this hitch receiver. The instructions were good, but watching the installation video helped a lot.
very happy....easy to install.. but the control box was for a Camry (american car) not a Camry (canadian) so it does not work that is what we were told.....
